Glen was born in southern California but grew up in the north of the state. It was during high school in Sacramento that Glen first became interested in construction.

Glen graduated from high school and accepted a position at UCLA to study civil engineering. He transferred to San Diego State University in 1995 to complete his Bachelors, but decided to change his major to molecular biology. Upon graduation, he began working full time for several of San Diego's top remodeling companies, all the while gaining valuable experience, and training and studying for his General Contractor's license. He wanted to open his own business and provide service he felt was missing in the industry.

From the start of his company, Glen has devoted his time to developing working relationships with a variety of sub-contractors and vendors, to not only give his customers outstanding work and choices, but to ensure that their project is completed by reliable, honest, and competent workmen. This is very important to him to have a reliable team and speaks to the service customers receive. Glen Story Construction is a member of the Better Business Bureau because he believes in the strict standards that BBB asks its members to operate under and feels his customers can rest assured that he has a sterling reputation.

Glen is an avid outdoor enthusiast and spends his free time trail running, hiking, camping and mountain biking. He is a proud supporter of the San Diego Zoological Society, AMVETS, SPCA, Narcotics Officers Association, and the Firefighters Association.
